I am a MSc student at University of Helsinki studying Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. This digital garden began as a collection of my lecture notes which I keep using Obsidian, but has now expanded to cover some other topics.

• Floral World, a dashboard-like data visualization web app for exploring global vascular plant biodiversity. WIP. I'll add a post here about the dev process.
• SquatchMap - a web map of documented Bigfoot encounters by the Bigfoot Field Research Organization.
• BC Forest Finder - a tool for querying BC's forest inventory data for ecological characteristics, then doing network analysis to find the closest ones. I made this for a GIS course then published in the BC Government GIS Pantry.
• Pinkka Anki Importer - an Anki addon to convert plant lists from Pinkka.laji.fi into Anki flashcard decks to help with memorizing latin names of plants.
• Plant Family Mapping - a short script for generating maps of global species richness by plant family for Wikipedia contibutions.
• Once I made a very mediocre English subtitle translation of this wonderful Soviet fairy tale film Золотые рога (1973)
